Driving through Europe and wanting to take
the ferry from Gibraltar to Tangier Morocco.
Is this doable? or is it easier to go to Tangier
via Tarifa, Spain.
You can do it, but keep in mind that the ferry doesn't leave from Gibraltar, but from Algeciras (Spain near Gibraltar). The ticket should be around 35 € (for just a seat).
It can be that you have to wait several hours because the boat doesn't depart that often.
Balearia is the cheapest boating company.
