FWIW, in 8+ years on these forums, this is the first time I can remember for a post clearly falling afoul of the "no promotional posts" rule, yet still thinking it worth letting it stay. (It helps that I know the region, and thus place what's being described here in context, which might not be the case with hypothetical other similar posts which I don't remember.)
