I am flying to Sydney on 30th march (after being in south east asia for 4 months).,planning to work out there for a year. I am thinking of doing the work welcome pack from sta, working and travelling as i go.
Not sure whether to travel up or down the east coast when i get there.

I'm heading to oz beginning of April (no date set yet) im looking at doing the ultimate oz Sydney package as it looks so much fun! Then I'm hoping to travel up the east cost on a whv. I'm travelling solo at the minute as well so it would be great to meet others heading out around the same time.

Yeah well I think there both good if you want to meet people and it looks like they help you out with anything once you get there.

What is the best time to visit Australia.????
I'm heading out at the end of January too and going solo up the east coast. I fly to Melbourne and have absolutely no idea how to try and balance working with travelling!
I've not booked anything yet! I really don't know what to do for the best :/
I am a bit concerned about balancing work and travelling too, as Aus is so expensive.
I know you have to have £3,000 in your bank account on arrival but I am hoping my budget for Asia will last me then I should be ok to travel straight away and work after. If not I will have to find work asap then go on to travel the East coast after.
I think doing the oz intro package is a good idea as they help you find work?
Yeah that's what I'm thinking, they also help you with bank accounts and tax codes etc. Im worrying about finding work but hopefully there will be plenty of opportunities as I'm not fussy what I do
