I would go for the van mate. Don’t forget that you can camp for free in Australia – I mean not like in Europe where you have to book yourself in a campervan park and pay for the nights you staying in….. Also, there are BBQs in most of the parks which are free of charge; you just have to clean after you finished using it – that should help you to safe some cash as well.

Ok cool, thanks for that. I wasn't aware that there you can park your camper for free! Is that in all parks or just certain campervan parks?
We'd have no problem cleaning up, anything to save cash!!!
