I've just joined the forum too...I have pretty similar plans to you, in the respect that I will be spending time in Oz.
Do you have any plans of what to see or do?
Although I have only spent a couple of months in Oz previously (working on secondment), I can vouch for Brisbane...It's a great city! Slower than Melbourne and Sydney, but still enough to see and do.
Hope you manage to get some plans in place soon - its always good to have something to look forward to!

That sounds great, I don't really have any set plans of what I want to do, i'll just go with the flow really.
I'd love to spend time in Brisbane it looks such a nice place. Have you got any idea when you are going to oz?
Hopefully I'll book my flight in the next couple of weeks! I just really want to be in oz now!!
