Have you ridden a motorcycle in India?
How much international long distance motorcycle experience do you have in developing countries?
Cheers,
Terry

Perhaps if you'd bothered to read his profile you would have seen that he IS INDIAN. And from the looks of it has plenty of motorcycle experience. Maybe instead of mirroring your own fears and negative views on adventure travel, you should embrace other peoples joie de vivre
Calm down Dodger.
I've lived/travelled/worked extensively in India and know lots of motorcyclist there who ride daily and have never once left the city limits. It's normal.
As for my own "fears and negative views" regarding adventure motorcycle travel... a small part of my experience is riding the Pan-American Highway - both ways - and doing the Khardong La on a Royal Enfield that I bought and keep in India.
Yes, I should have clicked on his profile, but my questions were perfectly reasonable.
Tranquilo.

Terry

You are going to travel 1000 km on bike. Salute to you. Very courageous effort. It is getting colder here in India. So must keep some warm clothes with you. Good luck for your journey.
I just can see two post with the same topic..... so reposting my views over here...
Abhinav,
well search over xbhp a blog 16444-successful-failure-our-saga-into-valley-spiti
Thats how we planned. probably it will help you..
Going on a higher Altitude you can't have a pillion ride on your pulsar since you will have a ruck sack... its better to have a Enfield, than anyother 150 CC + vehicles....
Search about the area.. I hope you're not going as wanderer and have your routes fixed as well along with the stays and stops....
You need more planning rather than jus finding a travel buddy for the trip...
