I spent some time in Uruguay last winter. Super easy and relaxed country to travel in. I would rate it as one of the easiest countries for travel in the entire Central/South America.
I can't imagine what you want to know that is too hot for the forum though.

Unless the question is "sensitive", I would really urge you to just post it in the open. That way the knowledge of any answer can benefit people years down the road who'll want to know the same thing. And just because it's a question currently not talked about very often on this forum, doesn't mean it isn't something lots of people will have knowledge of.

It deppends on where are you going to stay, but there are covered parking lots in almost every neighbours...
Once you have decided where to stay, it´s only to walk a few blocks arround and just ask here and there....
