I'm flying too aus and spending most of December in Queensland with friends, Then I fly too Sydney for xmas and NYE just wondering if any one has any idea how much spend too to have while I'm in Sydney. Not too sure what ill be getting up too so just looking for a ball park figure..

I'm going to Melbourne in August but staying in Sydney over New Years. I have no idea about spending money either - however looking online even hostels around that date are gonna cost an arm and a leg. Might be worth seeing if you have friends you can stay with? Thats what I'm doing and saving myself a shxt load!

Accommodation is expensive in Sydney that time of year and quickly fills up. Book something soon, preferably central or close to public transport. There is an accommodation link at the top of the page.
