Hello friends I m going on trek in India which would be through the jungle and up the hill ha ha ha i mean to say i would have to encounter multiple terrain by the time i finish it . I m hoping you could help me with some gear and things which can prove helpful to me while trekking.
hi friend i am not a genius in trekking but in my opinion you should carry at-least these things
Water and Food
Clothing
Compass and Cell phone
Torch lights and head lamps
Insect repellent
First-aid kit
Is this an independent trek or with a group? Is accommodation, food and water available en route? If you can provide more details, it would help us to help you.
The key items for me are good, broken in footwear - the exact nature of this is entirely personal - and clothing appropriate for the location at the time of year. I also carry compress/gel bandaids and antiseptic wipes for blisters / small abrasions, although I know several people that prefer medical tape in lieu of these items. I haven't done any trekking in India, so can't help with geographic specifics, but much of the rest will be dependent on access to things en route. More info will help!
Don't forget to bring Insect repellent. This is very important and then flash light
