Our next trip From France to USA and Canada

Hello
On and after 6th of September 2016 I Will travel with 3 of my Friends.
Will arrive To Chicago, rent a car and make Our road trip.
I detailed the Way on the map
It would be great to get information on what must be visited.
Many thanks.

Unless there is a specific reason to go to Shawinigan, you may want to stop in Ottawa instead. Shawinigan does however have a fantastic micro-brewery called the Trou du Diable... Grt menu and grt beer. Well worht the stop.

If your going to Portland Maine you may want to add Bar Harbor for the scenery or Freeport for the shopping.

Note. You may get more advice if you provide more info on your specific interests.

Hello, yes There is a Country DANCE festival in St Tite. That is the reason why we make a stop there.
But nevertheless I Will Check what is helpfull for Our trip and revert with question. I AM in a train right now.

If you do go to Ottawa & it is worth a look, if only to see Canada's Capital & it's Parliament buildings, cross the Ottawa river into Quebec & go to Montreal following the river rather than the highway .. the highway route on the Ontario side from Ottawa to Montreal would be quicker but is deadly dull .. the Quebec side is far prettier.

I found recently that Google Maps has an option to avoid highways ... check that to see if it suits your purpose.

Perth, between Toronto & Montreal, is also a pretty spot to visit & I would choose a route that goes through it.

Steve

I just looked at the schedule for the bands. Edith Butler, a true Acadian treasure is performing. If I were you I wouldn't miss that show -> true cultural experience. I would google her if you are not familiar with her material!

HI! Im also planning to travel there.. Looking for information too. Have a nice day!
