Norway (Trondheim) and New Zealand (Christchurch) are I think the ones closest to the poles...

Haha mine is dreadful. Lowest point is Mexico :o. and Highest Scotland. Auckland is lower than Durban.
North: Svolvær, Lofoten, Norway
South: Somewhere in the Catlins, New Zealand (we didn't go down to Slope Point, but won't have been that far north of it).
Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen (north of mainland Norway, and the furthest north you can fly on a commercial airliner), 78 N
