im a 22yr old female from ireland. have just finished a degree and am not ready for settlin down into full time work so i intend on travelling to sydney in september 2010 on the working holiday visa for a year. My funds aren't great so will probably have to work in order to live and travel etc. I'm an outgoing person, love the outdoors and sports as well as music and dancing! If anyone is thinking of doing something similar and are lookin for a travel buddy, leave me a comment

Im a 26 year old irish lad living in scotland and im fed up with all this 9 ta 5 craic!! Im heading off to Melbourne in septemeber on working holiday visa and like you my funds are poor so ill have to work too while im travelling to top up me funds
Are you planning to touring Oz when your there or mainily sticking to Sydney? Im going to be in Oz for 4 months before i head off to NZ for 4 months and it would be cool to have somebody to travel around with
Im fairly easy going, love sports and the outdoors and enjoy the odd pint every now and again
It would be cool to meet up if our paths cross.

Hiya Linz, I am 21 years old, female and currently living in Leeds.
I am also wanting to fly out to Sydney in September this year! I am currently working full time as a recruitment consultant but wanting to hoepfully hand my notice in come July time!
I have been wanting to fly out to Australia for a while now but have always had something in the way.
My situation is quite ideal at the moment though as i have no comitments to keep me here other than family and friends!
I too would like to fly out to Sydney and work, i will have some money to take with me but ideally i would like to get a job!
When in september were you thinking of going? Were you wanting to travel around Australia?
My plan at the moment is to fly out in September and stay in a hostel for the first few weeks until i find a job.
I have a few friends currently travelling around Australia and they have all said staying in a hostel is the best way to meet new people!
I am also very out going, love going out with my friends and socialising.
Would be great to speak with you if you are still thinking of going!!

I am a 24 year old girl from south Wales, heading off travelling for s year in September too.. North America, Fiji, new Zealand and Australia! Will be in oz for 6 months, prob from Feb 2011 onwards. Sounds good. The east coast is my first target too then hoping to have a look at the west coast before heading on to Thailand. I won't be in oz until late jan but if you're still about, would be cool to catch up!
