What, that you can't read the forum rules before posting?
If we allowed everyone with a personal travel blog to post it to the forums here, the forums would quickly degenerate from a great place to come to ask and answer questions to a 'check out my blog', 'check out my website', 'check out my porn website' etc. etc. kind of place. It would also mean spam bots would flock this site and auto post thousands of entries every day rendering the entire forum useless in effect. The rules have been in place since 2002 and I think they are part of the reason that this is still one of the most trafficked and respected travel forums on the internet, where many others have taken the aforementioned degeneration route.
I realize it's harsh, but we aren't all bad. If there's a post that's useful as an answer to a question being posted, then we typically allow it.
