Bag too big?? Keeping it light....

I've just got a 140L holdall on wheels for my year long trip to Australia and I'm now wondering if it's going to be too big? I'm not expecting to fill it, nor am I expecting to carry it, therefore I should be ok but I'm having little doubts so just want someone to say it'll be fine ha ha!!

140 liters

Jesus Christ on a pogostick, are you insane? What do you want to transport with that?

Even if you do not fill that thing up, it is still large. And even if you roll it most of the time you still need to carry it up and down stairs far more often than you care to think.

What is more: In a bag that large your things will be tossed around if you leave it half-empty. Your clothes will get wrinkled and you'll have problems finding things. They just won't be where you placed them.

I strongly suggest you go for a wheeled suitcase that is approx. 40-50 liters, that really will be ample.

Thanks, I knew it really just wanted further opinion....

I'm gutted that I've bought it now, think it may be too late to return it too so I might be stuck with it....Unlucky for me.

I'm going to try and exchange it for a smaller one tomoro so fingers crossed
