does anyone know of any great places to go skiing? i'd probably be looking to go around about December/January, I'd have to hire all my gear and i'm very much a beginner. does anyone know of any good package deals or the best places to ski on a budget?
Hello tappy1988
I can recommend Austria. I go there every year. For beginners a nice skiing place is around "Elmau" but I suggest more the area around "Zell am Ziller". The second one can offer tracts for beginners but also advances learners. If you decide to get an accomodation a little further away like a neighboured village the prices are also very good for a hotel or pension. Zell quite high situated so that snow will be guaranteed to that time of the year.
I also heard that the French Alps are very good just quiet expensive.
Cheers
Sina
