NW Canada Bound July trip to Juneau & Ketchikan

Was thinking about NE Canada originally but thought I'd explore Juneau and Ketchikan. I know these are tourist areas and lots to do with that but any great sites or camping off the beaten path?

My idea of north east Canada would be Newfoundland and Labrador.

Are you going to be in Canada, The US or both? I assume you are travelling through Canada and into the US? Are you flying? Ketchikan is on an island, so you'll need a ferry or a flight to get there. I know more about Sitka, AK, but can make recommendations if you are driving through Canada to get up to Juneau or Ketch..

Also, even though Juneau is the capital of alaska, there are no roads into the town. You have to take a ferry there also.

P.S. The title of your thread is a bit misleading--------
neither Juneau nor Ketchikan are in Canada--both are in Alaska, which is part of the USA.
