I'm interested in seeing the "real" Newfoundland this summer for just one week. I am a single woman traveling alone, and I'd like to stay in a B&B somewhere very close to the ocean. I want to be able to rent a car and ride a bike and just explore and meet some wonderful locals.
Sounds like "you have nothing to fear, but fear itself." While traveling alone can seem daunting, I've found that I almost prefer to do so. Your schedule is your own, and you don't have to concede to others travel wishes.
If it was me, I'd do some research and book your B and B as soon as you can, as summer can get busy by the ocean. It sounds quite relaxing.
