Looking to book my accododation for xmas and new year.where is the best place to stay in sydney.we will be looking to stay at a hostel.what to do xmas day??and NYE??
you will be lucky to get a decent hostel for new year now in sydney, most will be booked up now around xmas and new year. i'm staying at sydney harbour YHA, the rocks. quite a few people off here are booked in for then.
You should still be ok to find a hostel for that period - I was in Sydney for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year in 2004 and I booked in the July. I stayed at Base Backpackers which was fine and is in a good location. I spent both Christmas day and New Year's Eve on Sydney harbour. Many backpackers go to Bondi beach on Christmas day though.
had a look around and weve decided to splash out £60 a night and stay at surfside bondi beach;hopefuly should be great!!
