Flying from South America to India

Hi everybody,

Hi Mike,

The type of round the world tickets you get varies from country to country and since I'm a travel agent in the UK the advice I can give you is a little limited... but... I would think about travelling from South America to Australia then on to South East Asia and finishing in India instead of Thailand if I was you.

In terms of a website, when it comes to RTW tickets you are much better off talking to a travel agent, there I no websites I know of where you can book your own RTW tickets and get them cheaper than I can.

Hope you get a great price whatever you decide.

Cheers,

Tom

Hi Mike,

I used to flight from South America to Asia, and if you don't like to flight through US, you can take the connecting flights like this:
- To Panama or Mexico City
- To Europe (usually to Amsterdam or Paris)
- To Asia.

The website which I can recommend for you is orbitz, please search and find the information which you want and compare with any airfare the travel agencies offered to you. Usually this website has the guarantee that their fare is the cheapest one.

Best,
Kim

Onetravel.com shows a connection leaving SCL via JFK and LHR to BOM on Lan, American and Jet Airways for a total one-way of $1478.
