hey, just joined there. Me and my twin sis were looking to go somewhere next year for when we finish school(We'l be 18). We'r from Irleland and well, were kinda sick of the rain lol. We'v been away foreign already nd wanted to go somewhere different. We'v already been to America before nd of course, loved it. New Jersey/New York. We decided that we'd love to go to LA or somewhere around there. Who wouldnt? Was just looking to see if anyone has stayed there and where? we'r not looking for anywhere pricey, would need to be a reasonable rate cus well we'l just be out of school and we have a budget!. Were thinkin of going for about a month. We want to stay in an area where theres plenty to do! we want to try stuff like hiking and all other kinds of outdoor stuff, nd we'd like to go to visit museams etc. So if anyone could recommend anywhere to stay nd things to do it would be great . thanks.
Welcome Aislingmc - I can appreciate your wanting to get in out of the rain (I live in America's Ireland - Oregon!) Problem is you're thinking of the wrong town. LA is the pits! Forget what you've seen on TV and all that - 100% lies, believe me. San Francisco is the place for you. Problem is, nothing is cheap or even near-cheap in California any more! SF has it all, and with some style too.
