Just in Ko Samui and due to move on tomorrow. Just trying to decide what to do next??
We were either planning on going Ko Phangan and staying there for a few days or our other option is get a flight straight to phuket and head to ko phi phi, Krabi etc.Has anyone got any suggestions?? Whats the weather like on the west coast?? Also if we decided to go to Ko Phangan is it easy to get a boat across and get a train to Krabi??

Yeah, try something that is not related to a beach setting! Lots of beaches in the world, you don't have to come all the way to Thailand to just sit on a beach.
Why not visit Chiang Mai or some of the places up north? In that area you will see some of the things that make Thailand unique.
(You can still get a tan just walking around Chiang Mai too!)

But the beaches in Thailand are amazing and if you head to Koh Phan Ngan and want an experience you won’t forget, miss out Haad Rin where the full moon party is and get a taxi across to the north side of the island and then you have to get a boat to Bottle beach (only accessible by boat). Here you can swim in the sea at night time in the phosphorescence which is absolutely amazing! There is a little bar on the beach which is cool an fairly quiet.
If you want to experience the jungle and not go all the way to Chiang Mai, check out Khao Sok National park (just above Phuket on the west side of Thailand. boat bus is easy to get over to that side of the country.
Other really cool remote islands which haven’t been ruined by drunk teenagers - Ko Raya, Ko Lanta or Ko Hai which are all accessible by boat from Phuket or Krabi.
