I am hoping to walk along the Coastline between Porto and Viana da Castelo in September but there does not appear to be a continuous footpath along that stretch. A road map shows that the N13, which is a minor road, hugs that coastline however. I wondered if anyone has used that road and would be able to offer any information about it that would help me to decide whether it is likely to be safe to walk along.
