i'm really scared to travel alone....... anyone else doing a round the world trip alone??? or have done it?
is there a way to meet people going on the same program, or are you totally by yourself?
I did a solo trip for 4 months. Spent 2 months in Nepal and then 2 months through Jordan, Israel, and Egypt. If you are outgoing you will meet someone almost immediately. What you dont realize is that you are more willing to meet people and open up a conversation when you are alone. You will meet people in the aiport, on the plane, in the hostel, on a tour, at a tourist attraction, bar, everywhere. I did a solo week to Peru and tried to be alone just to relax and I had people come up and talk to me.. Where are are you traveling too?
I would to do the round the world, but i'm thinking i should do a volunteer trip to begin with and see how I handel it. Right now i'm thinking of doing an archelogical dig in Peru for 2 months. That was im kind of taking baby steps lol.
But i would love to see Nepal, cambodia, Australia, Egypt, Thailand..... its so hard to figure out where to start.
