Hi guys I'm totally new to the site (and to travelling) and I just wanted to say hi!
I'm going with a gap year company to New Zealand this October (for 10 months!!!), stopping in Hong Kong for 3 days on the way and however long I want in LA on the way back.

Let me say you should enjoy your visit and stay in NZ. I was born there, but now reside in Australia. While the two main islands compliment themselves, it's the South Island that excells in the scenery. Bringing your english pound will also help u 2. If you have the time hop over to Stewart Island, that's like Fiordland, another worlderness.
