Hello,
My name is Lolade (For the sake of mispronunciation, Lola like the spanish Lola abbreviation would do). I have been reading different blogs all night, its 1.43am here in Lagos, Nigeria. I have done a bit of travelling and i have gone solo almost everytime mostly in Europe but i fear i might be going to unchartered waters with my current travel plan. I am getting cold feet because the information i need seems multiple and not very straightforward.
My travel itinerary goes thus - lagos to London by air, London to Paris by Eurostar (wont spend the night, the last time i did not find the city a very friendly place despite my spirited attempts at speaking French i learnt in high school). Then its paris to Zurich by train in time to catch my favourite composer of all time Andreas Vollenweider on the 21st of August 2010.
Now i should just want to return home except i just read "The Reader" by Bernard Schlink and being so close to Poland would love to see Auschwitz-Birkenau. Navigating my way from Zurich to Krakow would seem easy to many seasoned travellers but because my return trip to lagos is not flexible, i would hate to not be able to find my way around with 2 nights to spare after my concert.
Can i find a free spirit (i know there should be no axe murderers on Travellerspoint?) who could double as a guide and have his/her way paid by me just to make this trip happen?
