I'm looking for a rucksack that can withstand 10 months travel in New Zealand. I don't plan on doing any major hiking trips with this bag but it will be used going to and from towns and accomodation and etc.
The only thing is, I'm totally skint. Does anyone know of a good brand/store where I can get cheap but good ones?

eBay is a great idea.
I recently got a 2nd hand Berghaus Jalan (with wheels), great condition, for £75. new they are approx £120/£130
