New in Edinburgh

I've lived in Edinburgh for almost 5 years and I'm leaving in 2 weeks to go travelling. It's a great great city and I'll definitely miss it.

I can't promise that I'll have time to show you around, but I'm more than happy to help you out with any advice/recommendations that you need.

You've arrived at a great time with the festival just kicking off!

Well i arrived month ago already but never really had a chance to see anything.

I am interested in history... i think that is the main thing. And i wouldn't mind some good bars too

Edinburgh is my home town, although I don't live in the UK anymore, I still love to visit.

Just now, get yourself a festival guide and get yourself up to the Pleasance when the shows begin.

Also, I joined the local gym to meet people as well, I'm sure you will be fine - just throw yourself into it - Edinburgh is a fantastic place.

There is the comedy club up in York place that has some great evenings on and quite cheap as well.
