a friend has a swedish passport which is expiring on the 25th October 2011, we are heading to vietnam, cambodia, loas, thailand and indonesia from september 2010 but am finding it really hard to find out the mininum time left on the passport required to enter said places the purpose of the travel is tourism, not work or study
is there any one out there who can help!!?????
Have tried calling swedish embassies everywhere with no luck!!!!

My experience is that if there is a requirement, it's usually that the passport is still valid for up to 6 months after departure date. But really this is the kind of thing you should check with the embassies of each country you are visiting. Bit risky relying on my 'hunch'

The passport will need to be renewed, or odds are the airlines won't even allow boarding.
