Malaysian visa on arrival

Anyone know what is going on with the visas in Malaysia.? I've booked a flight to K/L and the air asia website is giving me a pop up window saying that Malaysia has immediately stopped the visa on arrival. Ive done a search and I get old websites that havent been updated, that still say VOA is still available, but there are other reports of VOA not being available for Chinese nationals and Indian nationals. Im currently in India, so maybe Air Asia's site is giving me this pop up because of that? I have a UK passport.

Ok think I just answered my own question. Searching on Thorntree I found this.

"Can see this change of policy confusing a lot of travellers.
http://www.airasia.com/my/en/latestnews/visaannouncements.html
"Malaysian Immigration Department will no longer be issuing Visa on Arrival (VOA), effective 15th August 2010"

This only applies to those nationalities which previously qualified for visa on arrival, such as India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, China, Myanmar, Taiwan, and several others.
It does not apply to most western nationalities which still qualify for the standard 90-day visa exmption."

So looks like another screw up of Air Asia in not making it clear that they meant only people from certain countries will no longer be allowed VOA.
