first of all, I would like to say that I found a lot of interesting topics being answer by professionals photographers
If this is a genuine question, I'd suggest putting down the photo magazines and join a photo course at your local community college before you lay out $3000 on the advice of complete strangers. Listen to them if you want, but chances are they'll just tick the boxes on their own wish lists leaving you with the only thing left to decide ... Canon or Nikon?
