Recomendations on places to eat in Puerto Banus/Marbella

Next month me and a couple of pals are off to Puerto Banus for 6nights and would love to hear of some good recomendations on places to eat. I know this area of Spain is very commercial but would love to ty some local and authentic dishes... mmmm

Right opposite the totally exclusive Puerto Banus Harbour (just drool over those multi milllion £ yachts), is a tremendous restaurant which - oops, I can't remember the name of - but you can't miss and for the area, it's very cheap. The food and service is superb and the wine list is something quite special too.

Cheap is good, as I know Marbella is dam expensive!

I'll keep and eye our for the place you mentioned and if we dine there I'll let you know how we got on...

Cheers Bob

Marbella doesn't always have to be expensive. I've eaten at the wallet busting places - and you're so right, there are some stupidly dear eateries there, but if you go up the hill to Marbella Old Town there are some really top quality restaurants that aren't expensive at all. The food is nearly always typically Spanish as well - so best of both worlds.
