45 days trip to Thailand, Vietnam and Camboya

Hi everybody, Im travelling to those countries from October 14th and December 3rd.

Gabriel,
After BKK, you have a choice of flying down to Krabi on one of the or bus. If you choose the overnight bus out of , you save one night's accommodation and arrive in the early am, best time to find a room. After Krabi and Koh Phangan, bus or train back to BKK. You have about a month for your VN & Cambodia legs. I would fly over to HAN. Less than $80 advance booking. After 4-5 days in the HaNoi area, you have a choice of or overnight bus down to Hue. Train is safer, more expensive, must book several days in advance. will get you from HAN to HCMC for the same price as a sleeper train charges from HAN to Hue. I prefer the open tour bus because it is cheap and convenient. Your decision. covers a bit on the open tour during my last trip in 08. After HCMC, I would take the over to Phnom Penh. PP is worth 2-3 days IMO. Perhaps some beach time down in , side trip to / if you have time. up to . Get the for Angkor, one long day back to BKK. You might want to save a few days for if have an interest in that part of Thailand. I would allow 21 days for VN, 7-8 for Cam. Or save a few days in each country for Thailand at the end of your trip. Good luck with your planning.
