If you want variety in your trip I would include some of the following):
Guilin/Yangshou (and surrounding area)
Lijiang - Old town, and Tiger Leaping Gorge
Chengdu - Pandas, trip down to Leshan (Giant Buddha!) and possibly EmieShan
Jiuzhaigou
Xian
Beijing - particularly the Great Wall
