ok so upon looking at tourist visa requirements for thailand it looks like you need a two way flight....
But im not sure how long i will stay for and how or where i wil be goin to after that.
Has anyone been there on a one way flight or with out any return or flight out of there???

I have flown into Tland at least 10 times and have never been asked for proof of onward flight or to show adequate funds. The Thai Imm. officials can ask for these requirements, but they rarely do. A Vegas friend of mine flew into Suvarnabhumi Sept. 1 and will come back around Christmas. He got 2 free tourist visas from the before he left Vegas. He e-mailed me that that he was not asked for an onward ticket or for adequate funds at Suvarnabhumi. This wass his 25th flight into BKK and has never been asked for anything other than his passport. Do not stress over the onward flight requirement.
I suggest you obtain a free 60 day tourist visa from your Thai Embassy in the UK. That will give you 60 days for free, and can be extended another 30 days if needed. Good luck with your planning.

I have never been asked to produce a return flight either, over many, many years. But Thai immigration officials do have the authority to ask for it. If a traveler looks like a bum or perhaps they think that this visitor will not have enough money to support himself they can ask you to produce a return ticket and even proof you have money to support yourself. (Debit cards, credit cards, cash, travelers checks are proof.)
One thing to keep in mind is that some ONE WAY tickets cost almost the same as a return trip. So do the math on this. If it is about the same price to fly to Bangkok ROUND TRIP then it might be cheaper to fly back to BKK from where you are in Asia than pay for a single flight home. Check the prices! There are open jaw tickets and open ended tickets you can also purchase.

I'm not sure what you mean by a "two way flight" you don't need to return from where you've come from but you do technically need an onward ticket, meaning to anywhere out of the country.
I've never been asked by immigration before either, but I WAS asked by the airline recently. Flying from Australia and they were not going to allow me on the flight unless I had an onward ticket. Luckily this was one occasion I actually did. The trouble with airlines is they hold all the cards, if they don't want to let you on they don't have to. They claim they are not letting people on because if immigration refuses you entry then the airline has to foot the bill to fly them back out. I think they have cottoned on to a little gem of a way to make people have to buy expensive on the spot tickets from them. you might be perfectly ok, but if you want to protect yourself and have some piece of mind, buy a oneway ticket from BBK to K/L which is probably the cheapest flight you can get. If you book it early and at the right time it could only cost you $50. A lot less then it will cost if the airline refused to allow you on the flight. You can either use the ticket or not and then once you are in the country make you plans for when your really want to fly out.
