My computer was stolen inside a resort in Siargao Island, Surigao. any advise about it?.
Report it to the hotel. Then report it to the police.

When I leave my room in the P.I. or Thailand or anywhere overseas I lock my laptop up in my bag. Out of sight out of mind!
Maybe the police can check out the security cameras since you say "resort" and not guest house; they probably invested more in security.
Keep in mind that your laptop could have been stolen by a fellow tourist, perhaps someone you invited into your room before and while you were out he/she took your laptop. Maids leave the door unlocked sometimes when they are cleaning and have to leave the room for a few minutes.

Just thought of something. If you have trip insurance your laptop might be covered. Usually they require an official police investigation.
Shifty neighbors I would suspect more than the maids.

If you don't want to go through that (probably pointless) hassle then suck it up and be sure you have travel insurance next time and also invest in a locking mechanism or portable room safe.

Password protected?
If you had any links to banks or credit card companies where you saved the password to make it easy for you to access your records - the thief now has access too!
Any email names that you had with saved passwords are now accessible by the person who has your computer.
You may have to notify credit card companies if your numbers are compromised.

I think was people from the resort who stole my laptop. I did an official police investigation, but I like to know If the resort have any responsability.
The guard didnt didnt work the night that my computer was stolen and they didnt put other guard that night.
