I hope you're well. How are the plans coming along? I'm pretty much all done now, so it;s just another 2 months of work for me and then I'm off into the sunset! ha ha.
Just wanted to let you know about my Oz plans just in case you're around too. I arrive in Cairns on 29th November, from Fiji so hoping to be nice and relaxed! Then I'll spend my time working down the east coast until I arrive in Sydney on the 23rd of December.
I just confirmed my NY hostel last night, I've booked the YHA - The Rocks, which has an amazing view of the Opera House, check it out online! The bookings opened up at 11pm last night so if you're quick you can still get in!
I arrive in Sydney on the 23rd of December and am staying at the Wake Up hostel until the 30th before I move on the The Rocks.
I'm looking to spend a fortnight in Sydney before catching Alice Springs and Uluru before heading to Melbourne. I then fly out to Bali on the 14th of Jan aprox.
What are your plans again?

I have no concrete plans yet, gonna try and book something for new years this weekend and also my flights as everyone keeps saying they get booked up fast!!
Hoping to do thailand on my way and then poss start in cairns and work my way down for Xmas and NY in Sydney so we may cross paths :-)
Only two months left?? Jealous!!!! I'm waiting till sept as going to v in august!!! xx

I fly to Miami on June 2nd and am in the states for 1 month before i start my 3 month trip across South America. I'll fly into NZ for the Rugby World Cup late september and spend a couple of months there before heading to Fiji for 9 days.
Loads to do still!! Buy Backpack etc etc and everything to go in it! lol
Apparently, the wake up hostel in Sydney will have xmas and NYE's spaces for another month aprox but always best to book early to avoid disappointment I guess.

Ah sounds like you have it all planned out!! Sounds fab too!!!
Yep going on my own too!!! Decided to start in cairns as everyone says it's better to start there whilst it's warmer and work way down!!! One of my bestfriends has been working in Brisbane since last may so want to stop and see her and some point and a friend from school is travelling alone so my cross paths with him at some point but I'm thinking just go with whatever and all will work out :-)
Yep will try and book something this weekend as don't wanna be homeless at Xmas ha!! Can't wait to have it booked then can start thinking about stuff to take etc!!!

Starting to think I've made a mistake by booking into the Strand for xmas/new year... Im up for meeting anyone at anytime. Once new years is over with I will either travel up east coast or go west!
