I'm a 25 year old male from England, I don't have anything booked yet but I am planning on going to Peru sometime around September or October, and then spending 2 to 3 months seeing some other parts of South America. I have also travelled alone before but I can relate to what you're saying about South America - I've heard a few too many stories that make me a bit nervous about going there alone. Would be great to have someone to meet up with out there, so just let me know if this is of any interest.

I'm a 23 year old french girl planning to travel around the world solo. I'm really excited but to be honnest a bit nervous too. I know it's the best way to meet people and to be close to the locals, but a little apprehensive to be alone. I wanted to go travelling with my buddies but they are all engaged, building their own house and planning on having cats, dogs and KIDS!!
Life is too short so I decided to go travelling solo in South-America first, then New-Zealand, Australia and Asia. I'm planning on leaving France early October and my first destination would be Peru. I would prefer to find a travel partner to start this trip as it could be a bit scary at the beginning to travel on my own. I travelled solo in Italy and met loads of people, all really friendly and open-minded, but I heard that some places are not safe in South-America.Is there anyone in the same boat who would be interested in travelling with me for a while at least in Peru? I haven't mapped out any direct routes yet, there is just some highlights in Peru that I don't want to miss out, like Lima, Nasca Lines, Cusco and Machu Pichu. If you have similar plans just let me know.

Hey guys... Sorry for not getting back to you all sooner. Things turned out that I had to change my plans. I'm actually going to Asia this winter for 3 months - I just booked my flights to Bangkok!!!! so excited!! I'll do Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. Will meet up with some dudes in Bangkok and then I'll be travelling solo. South-America will be for another time, maybe next year. hopefully!! my boss offered me a great job opportunity, that's the job of my dream which would start next january so couldn't leave it go - you know that's the kind of thing you regret your all life if you say NO!!
Hope you will all have a memorable time in Peru!!
