Hi I am thinking of going to Venice, Paris an Greece in November an was wanting some advice. I will be spending most of my time in Venice as I am staying with a friend an do not need to pay accommodation, however am wanting to go to Paris an Greece for a couple of days. All up I will be spending 30 days in Europe an am on a budget. I am hoping to take approx 5000aus dollars with me. Will that be enough for food, museums etc. an to travel to paris an Greece for a couple days?? Any help right now would be great.

I reckon a budget of $100 AUD per day is plenty especially if you are staying with a friend.
Um flights from Melbourne to Venice are going to cost me approximately $2200. My only real problem is because it is my first time traveling to Europe is I don't know if 5000aud will be enough for food, outing an extras like train tickets an accom such as hostels in Paris an Greece if I was to travel there fir couple days also...
so, you are basically going to have $2800 to spend for 30 days which comes to about 2000 euros. You will need about 35 euros per night for Paris and about 25 euros per night in Greece. Allow for around 200 euros for transport, max 300 euros. I think that is enough.
