Hey there I arrive in melbourne on tuesday as well, whats your plan of action gary?! im staying at the base in st kilda for the first week then looking for accom somewhere.
Merit have added you on facebook. Plan on staying in Melbourne till March time, then travelling up east coast but plan is still very vague!

Funnily enough I'm staying at Base as well. Been told that's the place to be.
My flight lands at Melbourne at 6am on Tuesday, so I should be about all day on the Tuesday. Look up 'Gary Wilkinson' on facebook (the one with the dude in the Australian football shirt standing next to some random).

I'm heading to Darwin first then down to Alice Springs but will be in Australia for a good while and will be spending time along the East Coast, Adelaide, Melbourne & Sydney for sure, so it will be great to meet up with some fellow travellerspointers at some stage.
