Do not know, but do not miss Paris that is fabulous. !!

Artesia sleeper train - but there are problems at the moment apparently, read about it on

Alternatively, Easyjet fly Rome-Paris from about 30 Euros one-way.

I think it will be the best to travel by Train than bus or plane. This is cheap and reliable.

I think plane is the easiest and most convenient one. It would save you the hassle and time, too. If you find it costly, just think about the convenience and I think it would be paid off.

If you choose to buy a plane ticket, remember that the weight limits on the budgetairlines are strict. 10 kilo is more or less the standard here. Your profile doesn't indicate where you come from, but if you are travelling with a lot of luggage, you will need to pay for bringing the extra kilo's with you. Reserve that while you are buying the tickets, if you have to pay extra at the airport it's gonna cost you a lot more.

Also be warned, that with example Ryanair, you will fly to Beauvais airport, with is rather far from Paris. About 2 hours by bus, which also add to losing time, you rather spend in the city, and extra costs.
