I’m seeking travel companions for a trip from early May to early September, inline with (hopefully) heading to University in September. I’ve never backpacked before, but I’ve always wanted to and Asia is my prefered destination.
i strongly advise not travelling to pakistan. there is always a chance you might be kidnapped or killed. you best bet is to fly in pakistan than use public transport i.e if you really want to go there. watching a sunset or a sunrise over K2 is some thing one should never miss. iran is very safe.

I would also like to leave in May 2012, but more towards the end of May. I would like to travel eastwards, but only spend perhaps 3 weeks in total in Central Asia.
