If you get the chance there are some awesome beaches on the Eyre Peninsular, the area around Streaky Bay is nice too, I've got some pics of the area in my gallery.
We did the trip recently. It was fantastic!
I would definitely say don't miss Esperance! it has been voted as having some of the whitest beaches in Australia. And if you are into camping we drove our car right onto the beach and camped at a place I think was called Dunn's rocks where we had the place virtually to ourselves.
(if your car is a 4 wheel drive or we did it in an all-wheel drive!)
And the Denmark/Albany region is also beautiful...
Also take time to stop at some of the signed "photograph" stops along the way. Some of the cliffs are spectacular.

Esperance its deff worth a stop at.. its a small little quiet country town but is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the australia like lucky bay.. its fantastic for camping..
but it all depends what you want to see... Margeret river again is a very beautiful place a lot of whinerys and a very good chocolate factory, if u go past there deff a place to visit its called the valley of the giants. Its about 20 mins out of margaret river, very good for a nature walk/ camp or even a bike ride..
One more place i do have to mention is the city of Kalgoorlie Boulder, its a very iconic place for western australia, basically being the home of gold. Home to the biggest gold open pit mine in auz its like 4km long by about 1km wide.. home to the famous Pubs, topless pubs and hay street. um two up, road trains its very country australian out there lol but its always a good trip..
