Hi All,
I am just about to book a tour that starts in Bangkok and finishes in Vietnam.
The problem is that the cost of booking 2 single flights, are almost the same price as a return flight each!
Would anyone recommend that I either travel back from Vietnam to Bangkok and fly return from there, or is there a cheaper way of flying out of Vietnam?

You need an open jaw ticket - into Bangkok/return from HCMC/Hanoi (multiple destination option with online sellers) - should not be much more than a round trip.
It is the best way you book return ticket Bangkok- Vietnam ( Hanoi/HCM) which cheaper than only one way

You don't list what country you will start and finish. I am going to assume you are flying from the UK to BKK, then start your tour. A quick check on shows you can fly from either SGN or HAN back to BKK for $100. I would price the open jaw ticket mentioned above vs a r/t ticket into BKK. Add the $100 to get back to BKK and see what is your best option. Good luck with your planning.
