Hello,
Hi Kent,
You should start at north Vietnam with the highlights are Ha Long Bay, Sapa, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Mai Chau, Moc Chau. Then Heading to centre (Da Nang, Hoi An, Hue, Nha Trang), and the south after that with the highlights of Ho chi minh, mekong delta, Mui ne, Phu quoc Island . From Ho chi minh you can take a cruise along mekong delta and head to cambodia.
Hve a nice trip!

Hanoi and Saigon would be your musts. But there's alot to see in Vietnam off the beaten path. Had a good time buying bikes with a pal, riding them south and re-selling them and almost breaking even. Mui ne and Dalat would be my other two reqs. Easy riders are good to if you got the money.
I had an extensive itenarary for Cambodia but got to Sihoukville and never manage to leave, it's quite touristy and you won't get too much culture but it was loads of fun. Head over to Koh Rong or the nearby islands is a must as it was quite nice. Siem Reap is obviously a must but Angkor Wat was very disappointing for me due to the LOADS OF PEOPLE! Ridiculously overcrowded in the peak months.
Hi , I'm traveling to Thailand , Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam leaving in august spending around 6 months before moving on to Bali , only done Thailand before and a quick visa run to Cambodia so is all new to me aswell
Hi Gibbs,
To Vietnam you can do Visa on arrival (You need to have the VOA letter before you go). A travel agency can make a VOA letter for you in just 2 days and very cheap. The stamp fee at the airport gate for 1 month single entry is $45 plus the VOA letter around $15 if you go alone. Just let me know how many days do you have in Vietnam and what's kind of travel you are, what your interest. I will give you some tips and information
cheers!
