Hi , Im Rebecca I finally have the chance to save up to travel again and would really like to travel to Oz maybe via Dubai and Thailand ( I have family in Dubai so free accommodation) ! I will be 28 next August so this is really my last chance ! Due to starting a new job and needing to get my full qualification and save I can not leave earlier than October 2014. I really would like to travel with someone else as alone can be scary ! If you are also interested in going around this time then get in touch.

Hi, I would probably just like to travel for a bit then maybe work depending on how expensive things are , it would probably be worth getting the working holiday visa just in case as I've heard it's expensive ,
Yeah same, heard oz is expensive. So will definitely apply for the working visa. How long you planning on travelling for?

I am travelling arounf asia for two months in august and then heading over to Australia the end of september on a WHV. I will also be travelling on my and am very nervous as I have never done anything like this before.
I will be landing in sydney and will have my first week sorted but after that its a bit of a free for all, so would be good to meet people and see what they have planned :-)

Jodi that's what I'm planning too applying for a WHV heading over early October. I've got family in Brisbane so I'm starting off there, don't have any definite plans though! I'm also travelling alone!! Scary stuff but quite exciting!!

Im 20 going to be 21 when go leaving for oz around september 1st don't want to go on my own, is there anyone going at this time? plan on doing the year on WHV taking 4000 GBP with me.
would be nice to meet up with some other people who are thinking of doing this trip..

I'm 27 next month and have decided that if I don't go at the end of this year, then chamces are that I never will.
Like you I have current commitments that mean I won't be able to leave until December time. On the plus that gives me all year to save up. My plan is to get a WHV as I want to look to go with a view of working to get an additional years visa once im there.
I've not really looked into much at the moment so have no plans! Any advice or guidance is appreciated
