I have booked a hotel reservation thru -snip- in March this year.
However, when I try to change the booking, there was no contact available by telephone, email or any other way. No one answers the telephone call and no one reply to my email till this day.
However when I cancel the booking, I immediately get a reply that cancellation is accepted and there is no refund.
1.) Why do people still insist on using websites they have no experience with and still gladly hand over their credit card information, etc. I don't get it.
2.) Their website has all kinds of contact numbers. Are you saying they're all dead? None of the numbers work?
3.) Have you contacted the hotel directly to confirm the state of your booking?
4.) Have you contacted your credit card company to dispute the charge?
Cheers,
Terry
Uhm, bookings on that site are just powered by Expedia. It's not a scam, it's just an affiliate website that doesn't answer emails. You should get in touch with Expedia to sort this out. There most certainly is a way of getting in touch with them.
I'm removing the URL from your post, because I don't want any slander on here.
yes, I have checked with Expedia and they have no record of this booking.
Checked with the hotel directly and they have confirmed that they also did not receive any payment from -snip- or Expedia.
That only means that -snip- is keeping my money and not responding or make refund.
[ no more slander now please. ]
I have also got AMEX to contact -snip- directly and they told me that -snip- is unwilling to refund and they cannot do anything about it.

It's rather impossible for us to help you in this situation as I'm sure you understand. We don't have the real details of what happened. You need to resolve this with them, not us.
