my plans kinda seem similar to yours except I was going to fly out at end of September from London too and maybe work out there for a little while. Would be nice to meet others I have never been before either. But wanted to travel to other places not just Aus but prob wont be able to do that coz of money. I was planning on staying in Hostels etc..I agree with you about Christmas and New year in Sydney! Sooo many people are thinking of doing the same which means you get to meet more people! If youre interested in talking about it more let me know x

Yeah I would love to travel to other places to, Asia especially but I don't think I'll be able to afford it. I do want to travel around and explore before looking for work though, would be great to meet people to travel with instead of going solo all the time. I know everyone says you meet loads of people in hostels though so that's my plan! Its good to chat to people before going though, nice to know there's other people going to be around in the same boat! x
