I have a question. Can someone tell me how do Venezuelans treat LGBT people in their country? I know that Venezuelans aren't factory-made and I know that wharever I go I will meet tolerant and intolerant people. However I would like to know how do Venezuelans (in general) feel about it? If they will see openly gay or lesbian, openly trannsexual are Venezuelans tend to accept this person or condemn? Is it good way to be open in Venezuela? Are Venezuelans tend to make friendship with LGBT people?

Do you really need to let these people know you are LGBT. Displays of affection, even between men and women do not always go down well.
Most people have a safe holiday there but Venezuela can be a violent country with armed hold ups, casual theft, etc.
I know that Venezuela is quite violent, but I'm asking because I've heard that Venezuelans are open minded people. I know that Venezuela is very poor country in this moment and many people fight for basic things as food or education. Did someone from this forum was in Venezuela and was open? Did you have problem? If Venezuela is not good for me can you recommend me other country in the region? What about Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Colombia, maybe some other? Belize is gay friendly? I'm a little surprised, because from what I know in Belize homosexuality is still illegal.

Central and South America are very christian and often that is cause enough for people being against LGBT people. The fact that homosexuality is legal does not mean that everyone automatically accepts it.
If you walk around with a hand full of money on display , whose fault is it if you get robbed? LGBT is OK anywhere if you use some common sense as some heterosexual men or women travelling together is no big deal.
