Singapore to Thailand

Hi folks, im an inexperienced traveller looking for some advice. Heading to South East Asia for 4 weeks, from mid june until mid july with three friends. Flying into Singapore and out of Bangkok. Not entirely sure what countries to cover in that time. Any suggestions? Or even a route to use?
Also, are there any countries which require me to get an advance visa?
Thanks!

From Singapore to Thailand you can take a Sprinter Train and get off at Bangkok station. However for the time being, in Bangkok is dangerous in some places. It is better that you get off at Thunsong, south of Thailand and take on tourist places in the south. Have a nice trip.

Paul,
Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand will give you a 'visa on arrival' for free.

Easiest route would be to spend 2-3 days in SIN, then bus up to Malaysia. Plenty to see, both culture and beaches. Take a look at , , , for beach time. You can take a ferry from Langkawi to Satun Thailand. Beautiful islands on the Andaman Sea. , , are well known, but you might enjoy less visited island such as & . You can fly or overnight bus from Krabi or Phuket to BKK. Fly home.

Another option would be to bus or train up to KUL, then fly to HAN. You do need to arrange for your VN visa before flying. My covers this. Take 3 weeks to visit VN, from HCMC take a bus to Phnom Penh. t to Siem Reap, 3 days , or fly back to BKK. This would cost more than the first option, but perhaps more interesting. Send me a PM if you have questions.
