You're looking at around $35+ a day. Are you sleeping in the wagon, camping, cheap room etc.?
5 weeks L.A. to Seattle? It can be done in 3 days.

I started travelling in America and never left - good thing you have your returns booked, or you might be tempted to stay here! WHen on the west coast you might consider booking a tour with an adventure company. I was going to rent a car but it was so bloody pricey that I booked a trip instead. I went on a Yosemite tour and then later booked a trek across America. I had a great time and I Highly recommend it.
Also you have to be over 25 to rent a car in America. If you aren't the companies either wont allow you to rent or they'll charge you extra for being young.

Hi there! I Bet you will enjoy touring around U.S. as every places around the country gives you everything you want to see, eat and experience. I think you two month visit is just enough to go to the top destinations here in the states. I suggest you rent an RV for your convenience and bring a map with you just to make sure you are driving through right directions. -snip-
